BEHOLD is Bible study that began as an idea from Revelation 1:3 ...
“Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.”
KEEP what is written in it?? Well, hold on! If I’m going to “keep” it, I have to understand it. And if I’m going to try and understand it, maybe others would want to do that with me? And so, this study was born.
I had the privilege of teaching BEHOLD at my church in the fall of 2023, and now I am so excited to share the beautiful truth of Revelation 1-3 with you, too!
Because you know what else is in the first 3 chapters of Revelation? A whole slew of incredible truths about our God: who He is, what He has done for us, and what He will do one very real day. We get a marvelous description of what our risen Lord Jesus is like right now and what He has to say to His bride, the Church. And as we look at what He loves and what He hates; what He exhorts and what He rebukes, we find out how to live well for Him, and how to keep what is written for us so that we can wait well for Him until He returns. Because He will return… one very real day!

Christ’s letters to the seven churches in Revelation are absolutely worth an in-depth study on their own, and Behold the Risen Christ and His Beloved Church provides a sobering, yet encouraging, look at the mercy and grace Jesus offers His church in these last days. The study, teaching, and discussion questions fit well together for a tangible resource to know Him better and keep what He has commanded. Highly recommend!
The guided study, scripture memorization and prayer prompts were so encouraging. The discussion questions led to some amazingly sweet conversations with ladies at church. The study even gives the opportunity to dive into some Old Testament stories which in turn helps to better understand Revelation 1-3. This study deepened my understanding of Christ and His Church.
I always wanted to study Revelation, but knowing how complex it was really made it quite intimidating. Natasha worked so diligently to come up with great questions and provided scripture all throughout the bible to study those questions to give a deeper understanding of the context. I learned so much about Jesus in just the first three chapters and I'm in awe of His faithfulness to provide wisdom through His Word. I'm hoping she does more studies on the rest of Revelation!
I LOVED this study! Revelation can be intimidating, but this study helped me see the full picture of Christ in Revelation. It's well written and the homework is in depth, yet doable. Learning about the seven churches allowed me to prioritize the things that matter in life. This was a GREAT study to do with a group of ladies. The discussion questions encourage you to reflect personally, but also share with each other.
Went through this with a small group of women and the insight provided , depth encouraged and prayers prompted was truly a delight. Made me fall more in love with God and His word.
